Ans. Muni had owned a flock of forty sheep and goats' this sentence tells us that Muni had seen good days since forty sheep and goats were enough to call a man rich in those days.

Ans. Every morning morning took forth his flock of sheep and goats to the highway for grazing. He sat on the pedestal of a clay statue of a horse while his cattle grazed around.
3. What did Muni do on his way?
Ans. He carried a crook tied at the end of a bamboo pole and snapped foliage from the avenue trees, to feed his flock. He also gathered faggots and dry stick, bundled them, and carry them home for fuel.
4. When did Muni return home? What did he carry home with him?
Ans. Muni returned home with his flock of ship at sunset carrying gathered faggots dry stick for firewood.
5. What was Muni's breakfast and how did his wife cook for it?
Ans. Muni's breakfast each day was millet flour balls. Muni's wife boiled water in a mud pot, threw into a handful of millet flour, added salt and gave him his first nourishment for the day.
