Ans. : If you want to build an app from scratch and have control over design a sound

Q3. What is the difference between Hybrid apps and Native apps?
Ans.: Hybrid apps: Hybrid apps contain both feature on web apps and native apps. These apps can
be downloaded from play store or app store and installed on device.
Native apps: Native apps are the apps that are developed keeping device specification in minds.
Most native apps come pre-installed on a new phone and can be downloaded from play store or app
store.
Q4. Distinguish between a Desktop app and a Mobile app.
Ans.: Desktop app: Desktop apps are apps that can be used on desktop or laptop. Generally, they
do not need web access and run independently on computer. To run a desktop app it must be first
installed on desktop or laptop.
Mobile app: Mobile apps run on a smartphone or tablet. Mobile apps have responsive web designs
to adapt to the much smaller screen sizes and orientation of mobile devices.
Q5. How can you download and install an app from thee Google Play Store?
Ans. To download and install an app from play store
1. Tap on play store icon on screen of your device
2. Type the name of the app in the search bar that you wish to download
3. It will display the relevant list of apps. Now select the most suitable one by tapping on the
name of the app
4. Additional information about this app will be displayed including whether any fees needs
to be paid. If it meets your requirements, tap on install button to install app on your
device. The app will request you permission to access specific information from your phone.

Ans. Educational apps are equally imp for both students and teachers. Teachers are able to
distribute study material quickly, conduct tests and grade the students efficiently.
Parents too use educational apps to interact more closely with the teachers and thus
monitor the progress of their children.

Example of Photo Editing for a Desktop: Photoshop from Adobe is a photo editing

editing tool for desktop.
Example of Photo Editing for a Web Page: Pixlr also provides photo editing
software as a web application available at https://pixlr.com /web. Sumo Paint is
another web-based photo editing application.
Example of Photo Editing for a Mobile App: Adobe Photoshop Express and Mobile
Pixlr are photo editing apps for mobile devices, which can be downloaded from
either the Google Play Store or Apple’s App Store.

Navigation Heading Bar: It allows changing the heading bar that displays the app name or the page name.
Navigating Style and Colour: This option can be used to change the style and colour of the page icons.
