A lot of people tell me that I had a lot of potential(read 97% in ICSE and 96.4 % in ISC- Science Stream during a time when getting just above 90% was a BIG deal 😆), and apparently I just wasted my potential by becoming a teacher and not opting for some high-paying, fat-salaried job. However, what they don't know is that, becoming a teacher had always been my ambition. You can confirm that by having a look at my essays on "Your Ambition" since class 2. I've always loved the way one feels when young minds brimming with potential and energy look up to you for guidance. That is the feeling that has always steered me to becoming a teacher. Fortunately, my career as an educationist has turned out to be everything I hoped and wished for! It's something that I love to do and something that I look forward to everyday. It's a passion for me.
That being said, in today's age and time, there is a plethora of career options available. Had they been available to me, I might've opted for something else as well.
